07/04/2012 All Day Event Neil Garner Open Day The Wiltshire TVR Car Club already have a busy events diary planned for 2012 and one of the main events for TVR enthusiasts far and wide will be the Neil Garner TVR Open Day at the Kemble Business Park (SN16 9SH) on the A429 Wiltshire / Gloucestershire border. This will be held on Easter Saturday – April 7th 2012.

Former F1 race mechanic to Alonso, Neil is well known by all TVR enthusiasts in the West Country with cars coming from far south as Somerset and Dorset and far north as the Midlands for servicing and repairs. He has held 'full house' open days for his customers in the past during the Easter period, just before the motor racing season gets under way.

However, next year aims to be his biggest Open Day yet, this time incorporating the assistance of the Wiltshire TVR car club members. New for next year will be the best in TVR trade stands - So far committed are: D&C Trim from Blackpool, Crazyhorses racing (rolling road) TVR radio and alarm specialist, Carl Baker; Fibreon, ACT, Classic Additions and Roger Morris, famous for his Surrey Roofs for Griffs and Chims to name but a few.

Organiser of the event, Paul Stallard, who owns a Griffith 500 says, 'We are honoured to have top names in the TVR circles, like D&C Trim, Carl Baker and many more who come from north and south of the country to be with us on Easter Saturday. We want TVR enthusiasts to come and meet the specialists. From cows leather to more horse power, it will all be there!'

Before coming to the Cotswolds to service Blackpool's finest, together with Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Lotus and Porsches, Neil had been privileged to work with such stars like Fernando Alonso, witnessing his very first F1 race win through to a fantastic 2005 championship battle.

Besides all the TVRs Neil services, modifies and repairs, he will have three of his race prepared cars on display as well, the Mosler, the Porsche 997 and the latest addition, the Formula Le Mans.

We will also have a selection of Ferrari's and Maserati's which are sales cars from "Cortese Bath" and may including a possiable 599 GTO on display.

28/04/2012 Al Day Auto Italia Bristol For this 10th BIAMF we will also be celebrating some other anniversaries: It is also 10 years since the Alfa Romeo 156GTA arrived in Britain, the Lancia Beta makes 40, the Alfa Romeo Giulia hits 50 and Bertone reaches a magnificent 100. The Maserati Khamsin was styled by Bertone and will also be 40, so we hope to see one or two of these very rare cars. Our featured two-wheeler will be MV Agusta, but there will -of course!- be the usual wide selection of other two- and four- wheeled Italian transport. The event will again take place on the closed streets of the historic Old City area of Bristol, so please join us.

The show runs from 10.30am to around 4.00pm and spectator access on foot is free. It takes place on and around Corn Street in the historic Old City area of Bristol, beside the fascinating St Nicholas covered market. There is plenty to see and do for those less enthusiastic about Italian vehicles and the modern shopping areas are also not far away.

06/07/2012 3 Day Event Le Mans Classic Le Mans Classic is only ten and has its future ahead of it!
For ten years, every two years, Le Mans Classic voluntarily puts aside the sequence of tenses and prefers evoking the past to the present, while looking towards tomorrow. And this year, its eyes will also look westwards to celebrate the Americans in Le Mans.
All beautiful cars have a place at Le Mans Classic and offer a unique panorama over the best of car manufacturing. In the race on the big 24H layout, in the whole circuit with the History of Automobile told through some 8000 Club cars or thanks to the two '24' clubs: Le Mans Heritage and the Supercars Superspace, and the manufacturers new models display …

Le Mans Classic is a huge celebration, for collectors with the auction, in the village with the boutiques and activities, for the 7 to 12 year olds on the track for a parade… And for a full time three day family outing.
