Welcome!

Welcome to the home of TVR Car Club, Bristol. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month and head out for a rumble to various locations in the UK. Please see the About page to find out more about who we are and where we meet.

Next Meeting

Our next Monthly Meeting is on Sunday 21st September. We will be donning period fancy dress as is the norm for this event, and will be heading off nice and early to Goodwood Revival. We have been advised to get there for 8am in order to travel and park with the minimum of hassle. Therefore we will be LEAVING Warminster Services at 6.15am. The tickets were expensive and I for one intend to enjoy them – if this is too early for you, feel free to make your own way there.

Please remember it is NOT possible to buy a ticket when you arrive at the Festival, and there will be no admission without a ticket. For more information please telephone 01243 755055.

Please arrive with plenty of time to say hello, kick tyres and top up with fuel. To find out more, email Sharon or post on the forum to ask any questions about the event.

Missing all the Fun?

Our last monthly meeting was on Sunday 17th August. A fab route and day out was organised by Rich and Cath who took us for sandcastle competitions, icecream and sunshine to Lyme Regis.

Our July meeting was a static one. Instead of our usual touring and picnic-ing, we all enjoyed a fine day of Motor Racing at Castle Combe Circuit.

Our June meeting was a 2-day affair following an invitation from TVRCC Warwickshire/West Midlands. Held on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June, we dressed as pirates and joined them on their fabulous Tivs 'n' RiBS run. If you missed it, make sure you do it in 2009 - it's Gurt Lush! Keep an eye on Sprint Magazine to see what we got up to.

The run in May was to the lovely New Forest for a picnic and another ideal opportunity to enjoy Zig Zag Hill. See the photo gallery for the best picnic ever carried in a TVR by Wedgeman Bob.

Our April meeting, back by popular demand, was our annual Fish and Chip run to West Bay. This run took in Zig Zag Hill … officially England's most twisty road, where drivers can face the same gravitational forces as on a rollercoaster or race track.

An exhilarating route then took us to the Dorset coast to enjoy West Bay, Fish and Chips, skimming stones and a walk along the famous Jurassic Coast.

Remember, you don't have to own a TVR to be in the TVR CAR Club - it is not an owners club, it's an enthusiasts club. We hope to see you (new faces and old) at some of the fantastic events lined up! Give me a call or drop me an email if you want to join us.

All the best,
Sharon
